Watson Consoles, a long-standing partner to Emergency Communications Centers nationwide, is proud to launch its third annual Telecommunicator Gratitude Project, running April 1 through May 31, 2025.

“Gratitude isn’t just something you feel—it’s something you show,” said Alexandra Reed, Director of Marketing at Watson Consoles. “This effort continues to grow year over year because we believe every telecommunicator deserves to feel seen and valued—and we’re committed to making that happen.”

Building on the momentum of past years, the 2025 campaign expands in both reach and impact—aligning with the first-ever community-chosen commemorative badge design, “In My Dispatcher Era.” This lighthearted but meaningful theme underscores the dedication, composure, and impact of dispatchers in their most critical moments—and our commitment to recognizing them in ours. It sets the tone for a celebration rooted in joy, recognition, and collective appreciation.

This year’s efforts include continued collaborative partnerships with industry voices like The Raspy Dispatcher and the distribution of thousands of collector badges, in addition to Watson representatives visiting centers in-person to drop off a range of curated gifts and experiences. In 2024, Watson visited over 20 centers across seven states. This year, even more centers will receive these visits focused on connection.

As part of the outreach, this year, the entire Watson Consoles staff—more than 200 employees strong—is participating by writing handwritten thank-you cards to dispatchers and sharing their personal gratitude in ways that will be released over the course of the two-month wave of recognition. From the people who design, engineer, and build the furniture to those who support the mission behind the scenes, the gesture is a meaningful reminder that the people who make the consoles deeply appreciate the people who use them.

From free badge giveaways and curated gift baskets to direct mail with easy QR sign-ups and a nationwide digital campaign, the Gratitude Campaign is built to be inclusive and accessible. Whether through in-market visits or online engagement, Watson’s goal remains simple: no telecommunicator left out.

This year’s content will also amplify the voices of dispatchers themselves, featuring real submissions, blog posts, and a social series exploring what it means to be “in your dispatcher era”—and how gratitude comes full circle.

“We’re in our gratitude era,” Reed added. “That means more visibility, more connection, and more telecommunicators feeling appreciated—not just for one week, but all year long.”
