As 2024 comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on a year filled with growth, impact, and connection. Here’s a look back at some of the highlights that made this year one of our best yet.

Delivering Impact Nationwide

In 2024, Watson Consoles proudly provided tailored solutions for emergency communications centers (ECCs) across the country, installing over 600 consoles in more than 100 facilities. Every project reflected our commitment to creating durable, functional, and comfortable workspaces that help telecommunicators perform at their best.

Celebrating Our Heroes

During National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week (and beyond), we shared our gratitude for emergency telecommunicators. Our teams visited 21 ECCs across seven states, delivering appreciation packages, handwritten thank-you cards, and personalized letters from local students. We also continued our tradition of distributing over 2,000 collectible telecommunicator appreciation badges, symbolizing our enduring respect and gratitude.

Creating Excellence Across the Entire Center

This summer, we introduced a complete line of commercial office furniture, like the Captain's Office and briefing spaces, all designed specifically for ECCs. This expansion enables centers to furnish entire facilities beyond control rooms, creating cohesive, high-performing workspaces built for durability and long-term use. Our award-winning designs now extend to private offices, meeting rooms, training spaces, and flexible storage solutions.

Strengthening the Team

We welcomed Jason Jackson to the Consoles division this year. With extensive experience in public safety, Jason’s expertise enhances our ability to meet evolving customer needs nationwide. His passion for serving mission-critical teams and commitment to delivering tailored solutions position him as a key driver of growth for Watson Consoles.

Building for the future

We expanded our factory to make room for innovative ideas and bigger projects. The additional space allowed us to invest in new tooling, process improvements, and more efficient workflows. These enhancements enable us to reduce lead times, streamline assembly, and operate with less waste—all while better serving our customers.

Connecting with Community

Our team connected with over 17,000 telecommunicators and public safety professionals at 43 state and national conferences. At the NENA and APCO national public safety conferences, we highlighted a thoughtfully designed exhibit booth featuring solutions like marker board surfaces, a mobile work island, and more. The booth emphasized our commitment to functionality, comfort, and collaboration, demonstrating how our tailored solutions enhance productivity and well-being in ECC environments.
